34 S4 Biology students visited the Mai Po Nature Reserve on 14 February 2019. They had a chance to observe birds, mudskippers & crabs inside bird-watching hides. They also took a 500 metre board walk inside the mangrove forest and had a close encounter with the mangroves. It was a precious learning opportunity of exploring the wonders of the Hong Kong’s wetland. With better understanding of the important functions of the wetlands, students enhanced their concern about mangrove conservation worldwide.
