The Young Post under SCMP interviewed a group of S3 students on making natural dyed fabric craft using Chinese indigo, a native plants in Hong Kong. Through an interdisciplinary program developed in collaboration with Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden and local artist Mr. Benjamin Hao, students explored the fascinating ‘Living Chemistry’ behind the blue dye and its sustainability, local heritage as well as the interconnections in the ecosystem.
