We are thrilled to announce the remarkable success of our talented S5 and S6 students—Vienna Chan, Jenny Chan, Yuki Huang, Natalie Choi, Candy Huang and Cherry So—at the University of Warwick Metals of Life Symposium Salty Solutions Research Project 2026. On 5 July 2026, they showcased their findings in the project via an online conference organized by the University of Warwick. Our team won First Prize for Best Poster at the Symposium, competing against more than 20 schools worldwide. The team discovered that Zn²⁺ and Ni²⁺ alleviate 0.16 M NaCl osmotic stress, promoting the growth of a plant called Arabidopsis.
